The patented SDS, Side Delivery System, is a device that allows to shred grass or grassy crops and discharge the chopped material in symmetrical windrows on both sides below the plants in vineyards and orchards. Many years of experimentation and cooperation with the Universities of Bologna and Florence, have demonstrated that SDS is a valid instrument for managing vineyards and orchards, thanks to the high productivity and the reduction of fertilizing and weed control treatments necessary to cultivations. SDS machines are supported by a roller or wheels adjusting thei working height and it is pos-sible to control the discharging speed (in windrows) to adequate the biomass rate according to the tractor speed and the grass height.
SDS 102 is available with single auger and with possibility of frontal application.
